Navigating the light and the dark, when the night is dark…
"The night is dark and full of terror(s)." That's what they say, those that serve, the lord of light in the infamous book and tv series, Game of Thrones. I feel this saying but on my own spiritual level. Everyday who is to know whether we will live or die. Who is to know whether the stranger we meet will bring us "terrors" or not. We don't. So, what do you cling to everyday, in your own private world. Who do you serve? Who is going to save you or inspire you in your moments of "terror", as they say.
I am not one to judge, I never really ever did. As I grew older my mind more complex. I grew up very religiously, reading the texts, memorizing the lines. I questioned it, I got angry with it, I spat at it and those that surrounded me with it. Then as some others, I prayed to it again. I acknowledged it and I welcomed it. I learned to trust it, to lean on it. I told you as I grew older I became more open minded. I learned more from those around me and the experiences I survived. I know there is more now. I embrace it even when all those around despise it because they can't understand.
